Colchester and Wigan square off against each other at Colchester Community Stadium in a highly-anticipated FA Cup game. The U’s rolled over Sudbury 4-0 in the opening match of their FA Cup campaign, but they face an uphill task in Saturday’s football match. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be defender Luke Chambers as he scored a brace in a 2-1 win over Swindon on Tuesday evening.
The Latics, on the other hand, eliminated Solihull Moors thanks to Callum Lang’s goal in the extra-time. The League One side did well to beat Plymouth in their last league match, and seeing that they have been impressive in front of goal of late, away win should be considered. Colchester defenders should have Wigan No. 10 Will Keane at bay. In their last meeting in a competitive match the two teams played out a 3-3 draw.

Ben Stevenson is a product of a Coventry City football academy who plays for Colchester United as a midfielder. Born in Leicester on March 23, 1997, Stevenson started his senior career at Coventry City and made his debut with the Sky Blues on August 9, 2016, in the League Cup game against Portsmouth.
The English footballer moved to Wolverhampton in the 2018/2019 season, but he did not see any game action in the league with the Wolves. After ending his loan spells with Colchester United and Jumilla, Ben Stevenson signed a permanent two-and-a-half year contract with the U’s on January 30, 2019. He made his second debut for Colchester United against Northampton Town on February 2, 2019.
His primary position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing good performances as a defensive midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right, and he wears the number 24 shirt at Colchester.

Wigan Athletic are one of the winners of the English FA Cup. The Latics won the prestigious trophy in 2013, with the team upsetting Manchester City in the title game. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but it has to be noted that Wigan played in the UEFA Europa League in the 2013/2014 season.
