Castellon and Las Palmas face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Estadio Municipal de Castalia on Matchday 27. Castellon do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of Saturday’s clash as they are on a four-game losing run in Segunda Division. Juan Carlos Garrido’s troops were beaten by both Mirandes and Fuenlabrada in the previous two home games, and, no doubt, they are low on confidence ahead of the visit of Las Palmas.
La Union Deportiva, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Almeria, with the team beating Cartagena 2-0 in their last league match. Las Palmas, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on draw. It has to be noted that under 2.5 goals have been netted in seven of the previous eight meetings between the two teams.

Oscar Whalley is a Spanish goalkeeper who plays for Castellon in Segunda Division. After spending his youth career at the likes of UD Amistad and Zaragoza, Whalley continued playing for Zaragoza B at senior level.
After making 26 appearances in the league for the reserve team, the 189-cm-tall shot-stopper played 22 games for the senior team. After his spells with the likes of Huesca (loan), Sporting Gijon, Aarhus, and OFI, Oscar Whalley returns to Spain in 2020, signing a deal with aforementioned La Liga 2 side Castellon. Whalley made his Segunda division debut with los Albinegres in a 2-1 win over Ponerradina on September 12, 2020.
He kept his first clean sheet the following month in a 2-0 home win over Leganes. Speaking of his international career, the Castellon goalkeeper made his Spain U21 debut in a 4-1 loss to Belgium on November 12, 2014. His preferred foot is left.

Las Palmas are a Spanish football club based in the Canary Islands. The club was founded on 22 August, 1949. Los Amarillos play in Spanish La Liga and the team’s home ground is Estadio Gran Canaria. The stadium was opened in 2003 and it’s current capacity is 32,150. Miguel Angel Ramirez is the club’s chairman and the club’s main rivals are Tenerife.
Las Palmas impressed in the 2015/2016 La liga campaign, with the team finishing the season in 11th place in the standings. However, it has to be noted that los Amarillos finished the 1968/1969 Primera Division campaign in second place in the table, 11 points behind Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Speaking of Copa del Rey, Las Palmas made it to the final of the Spanish Cup in 1978. Las Palmas eliminated Sporting Gijon in the semis (5-3), but Barcelona outplayed los Amarillos in the title game (3-1).
