Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Genoa and Juventus face each other at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in the opening match of the Serie A round 16. The Rossoblu do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failing to win the previous three league matches and given their difficulties in front of goal, home win should not be considered. The good news for the home side is that Ukraine midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky is back from suspension, whereas Kevin Strootman continues to miss out with a hamstring problem.
The Bianconeri, on the other hand, did well to beat Napoli in the Serie A derby at the weekend, with the team retaining second place in the standings. Juve aim to overtake Inter in top position and we predict that Massimiliano Allegri’s men are going to take advantage of the current atmosphere in Genoa’s dressing room. Both Nicolo Fagioli and Paul Pogba remain on the sidelines through suspension, while Timothy Weah and Mattia De Sciglio are both injured.
