Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Sampdoria will look to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Brescia when they take on Lecco in the Serie B round 16. La Samp have been producing fine displays at home of late, with the team eyeing their fourth consecutive win at their Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris. Head coach Andrea Pirlo returns to the bench after the former Milan and Juve ace was banned for the Brescia game, whereas all Ronaldo Vieira, Fabio Borini, and Alex Ferrari are out of contention through injuries.
Fabio Depaoli misses out through suspension. Lecco, on the other hand, failed to win the previous three away games in the Italian second tier, which is yet another reason why we are going to bet on the promotion-chasing hosts. Midfielder Joshua Tenkorang continues to miss out with injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away team.
