Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Tehelne pole stadium will host Wednesday’s Champions League qualifier between Slovan Bratislava and Shamrock Rovers. Slovan have been producing fine displays in warm-up games, with the team beating both Admira and Orenburg, while sharing the spoils with Zlin. The Slovakian champions are eager to put an end to their six-game winless run in the elite competition, and they will not have a better chance than this to do so.
A man to watch in the home side will be Brazil international Rafael da Silva, who scored 14 goals in the national championship last term. Shamrock Rovers, on the other hand, have already kicked off the new domestic campaign, with the team leading the chase for the trophy after 19 rounds. The Irish side, though, often struggle on the travels, which is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts.
