RKC Waalwijk and Fortuna Sittard go head to head at Mandemakers Stadion in the Eredivisie round 19. RKC suffered a 2-0 loss to PSV at the weekend, but their display in the defeat to the title-chasing side was anything but poor. Fred Grim’s troops aim to put an end to their three-match winless run at home ground, and it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course in the Eredivisie.
Both El Haddouti and Ngonge are likely to miss the midweek clash with injuries. Fortuna Sittard, on the other hand, failed to make life difficult for Ajax in their last league match, with the team remaining in the danger zone. Konstantinos Lamprou is a Greek goalkeeper who plays for Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. Kostas is a product of the famous Ajax football academy, but he eventually decided to join Feyenoord football school. The 178-cm-tall shot-stopper continued playing for Feyenoord at senior level, making 14 league appearances for De Trots van Zuid.
During his spell with Feyenoord, Kostas Lamprou played for the likes of Excelsior and Willem II on loan as well. In 2017 he returned to Ajax, but made no more than three appearances in the Eredivisie with the Amsterdammers.
In the 2019/20 season he did not see any game action with Vitesse, and, as a result, he decided to join RKC Waalwijk at the end of the campaign. Born in Athens on September 18, 1991, Konstantinos Lamprou has 14 caps for the Greece U21 team. He has yet to make his debut with the senior team. His preferred foot is left and he wears the No. 31 shirt at RKC Waalwijk.

Fortuna Sittard is one of the newer additions to Dutch football as the club was founded on July 1, 1968. During the 1990s talented footballers such as Kevin Hofland, Mark van Bommel, and Fernando Ricksen played for the club, but they failed to close the gap between Dutch giants Ajax and PSV. In 1999, though, the Fortunezen did well to make it to the Dutch Cup final, with the team facing Ajax in the title game.
