Our prediction for this Sweden Allsvenskan match:
After beating Osterunds on the road on Monday, AIK will be looking to stay in the title race when they take on Mjallby in the Allsvenskan round 8. The capital club made a promising start to the season, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to win their 13th domestic trophy. Veteran striker Henok Goitom, who opened his goalscoring account in the triumph over Ostersunds, is likely to keep his place up front, alongside Argentine attacker Nicolas Stefanelli, who returned to the club before the start of the season.
Mjallby, on the other hand, have been playing some low-scoring games at the start of the season. Under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of their first seven games of the season, and given their poor away record, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of finding the net in Saturday’s clash. The good news for the visiting team is that defender Ivan Kricak returns from suspension.
