New York City will be looking to make amends for a 2-1 loss to DC United when they face FC Cincinnati in their first game of the season. The Boys in Blue failed to turn their dominance into more goals in their opener, but there were some positivities in their display. Argentina attacker Valentin Castellanos, who opened his goalscoring account in the 2-1 defeat to DC United, will be the man to watch in the home side. The likes of Haak, Heber, Mizell, Rocha, and Zelalem are likely to miss the game with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Nashville in the opening match of the season. The visitors are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach in Saturday’s clash, and given New York City’s attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered. All Bailey, Kovacevic, and van den Werff are likely to miss the game through injuries.

In 2012 he moved to fellow Romanian club Viitorul Constanta and in 2015 he signed a deal with Italian side Pescara. After scoring 2 goals in 34 appearances for the Dolphins, he returned to Romania, signing a contract with Universitatea Craiova. Alexandru Mitrita was on New York City’s radar during the 2017/2018 season and seeing that he scored 18 goals in the national championship, the chiefs of the MLS club decided to sign him in 2019.
The Romanian footballer made his MLS soccer debut in a 2-2 draw with Orlando City, but he failed to find the net. Alexandru Mitrita’s preferred foot is right, but he often plays as a left winger.
