Austria
All eyes will be on King Baudouin Stadium when Belgium and Austria face each other in the Group F derby on Saturday evening. The Red Devils kicked off their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win over Sweden, but keep in mind that Man City skipper Kevin De Bruyne misses June fixtures with injury. Inter forward Romelu Lukaku is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The Austrians, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in the standings, but they will have a mountain to climb in Saturday’s showdown. Men to watch in the away team will be David Alaba, Marcel Sabitzer, and Maximilian Wober. Freiburg striker Michael Gregoritsch is widely expected to lead the line for the visiting side. Austria is one of Europe’s oldest national football teams and they enjoyed plenty of success during the 1930’s, earning the nickname Wunderteam in the process.
