Montenegro
Armenia and Montenegro square off against each other in Yerevan in a friendly international. As expected, Armenia missed out on a place at the 2022 World Cup finals, with the team finishing the process in 4th place in the standings. The former Soviet republic aim to put an end to their three-game losing run, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Montenegro.
The bad news for the hosts is that Club Brugge striker Sargis Adamyan misses the match with injury. Miodrag Radulovic, on the other hand, has named six players from the domestic championship, but a man to watch in the away team will be Hertha Berlin attacker Stevan Jovetic. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on draw as the two teams seem to be evenly matched ahead of Thursday’s friendly.

David Arshakyan is a Russian footballer who currently plays for Chicago Fire as a striker. Arshakyan was born on August 16, 1994 and he played for local club Smena St. Petersburg during his youth career. On the other hand, he started his professional career with Armenian club FC Mika, but he made no more than three appearances for the Mika Stadium outfit.
The Russian footballer then joined Lithuanian side FK Trakai and he scored 36 goals in 57 appearances for the club in two seasons. On July 28, 2016 he produced probably the best performance of his career as he scored a hat-trick in a victory over FK Utenis Utena. Six days later it was announced that he would join MLS side Chicago Fire on a two-year deal.
Arshakyan made his debut for the club on August 27, 2016, coming as a substitute after 56 minutes. Speaking of his international career, the Chicago Fire attacker debuted for Armenian national team on September 4, 2016 against Denmark.

Montenegro is yet another former Yugoslavian republic. The Montenegrins declared their independence in 2006 and they played their first official match under the name of Montenegro in March, 2007. The Hrabri sokoli defeated Hungary in their first official game, with the team coming from behind to beat the Hungarians.
Serie A superstar Mirko Vucinic and Igor Burzanovic scored for Montenegro in the 2-1 triumph over Hungary. Montenegro national football team participated in the UEFA Euro 2012 playoffs and that is regarded as the team’s biggest success. The Hrabri sokoli faced Czech Republic in the double-header, but they eventually failed to book their place at the showpiece tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
Aforementioned attacker Mirko Vucinic is seen as one of the most famous footballers who played for the Montenegro national team, but we should mention former Manchester City ace Stevan Jovetic as well. Montenegro play their home games at Stadion Pod Goricom and they recorded their biggest win against San Marino (6-0) in September, 2012.
