Estadio Jose Alvalade will host Wednesday’s friendly between Portugal and Israel. A Selecao aim to impress in their last warm-up game before EURO 2020, and we are positive that boss Fernando Santos is going to field the best possible side. Man City ace Bernardo Silva returns to the starting XI after he was rested in the goalless draw with Spain, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered.
Both Joao Felix and Cristiano Ronaldo will pose a big threat for the opposition defenders as well. Israel, on the other hand, aim to build on a 3-1 win over Montenegro, but they will have a mountain to climb in the Estadio Jose Alvalade clash. Ronaldo became the most expensive teenager in the history of the Premier League and he received the number 7 shirt. He quickly established himself as the team’s key player and it has to be noted that he won three consecutive Premier League trophies with the Red Devils (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009). In 2008 he helped the Old Trafford outfit beat Chelsea in the Champions League final, scoring for Alex Ferguson’s troops in the regular time.
Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and he helped the Spanish giants with two Champions League trophies. In 2016 he won the European Championship trophy with Portugal. The Real Madrid ace has two Golden Ball awards (2013, 2014).

Israel are the direct successor of the Mandatory Palestine national football team. The Israelis received full UEFA membership in 1994, 20 years after leaving AFC and they have been facing European sides in the World Cup qualifiers ever since. Israel participated at the 1970 FIFA World Cup finals in Mexico, but they failed to make it to the knockout stages of the showpiece tournament.
