Allianz Riviera stadium will host Wednesday’s football game between France and Wales, the two teams who meet for the first time since November 2017. Back then France defeated Wales 2-0 in a friendly, and les Tricolores are once again seen as hot favourites to win the warm-up game. The good news for France fans is that Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema returns to contention following a six-year absence. Both Olivier Giroud and N’Golo Kante are likely to be rested following their participation in the Champions League final.
The Dragons, on the other hand, did remarkably well to qualify for EURO 2021, and, no doubt, they will rely on superstar Gareth Bale at the upcoming showpiece tournament. Anyhow, Wales face an uphill task in Wednesday’s friendly, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling France’s party in Nice. Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey returns to contention after overcoming his injury.

Kylian Mbappe is a French footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain as a forward. The French rising star began his youth career at AS Bondy and in 2013 he moved to AS Monaco. After making 12 appearances for Monaco B, Kylian Mbappe made his debut for the senior team in 2015. Mbappe quickly established himself as a regular goalscorer, with the teenager finding the net 15 times in 29 appearances in the Ligue 1 in the 2016/2017 season.
In 2017 he moved to fellow French club PSG on loan, with the option of making the deal permanent. Kylian Mbappe scored 13 goals in 27 appearances for les Parisiens in the 2017/2018 and it has to be noted that Unai Emery’s troops eventually won the national championship.
Speaking of his international career, Mbappe played an important role for France at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals, with the pacey rising star scoring a brace in a thrilling 4-3 win over Argentina in the last 16 of the showpiece tournament. The PSG attacker was born in Paris on December 20, 1998.

Despite being part of the United Kingdom, Wales national football team has been competing in FIFA tournaments since 1950, although they have so far only reached two tournament finals. The Dragons surprised everyone by making it to the quarter-finals at the 1958 World Cup in Sweden, but little did they know that it would remain their only World Cup appearance up to date.
Wales had plenty of problems in the European Championship qualifiers as well, but they finally managed to end the barren run by securing their place at the Euro 2016 in France. Led by the likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen and Ashley Williams, the Dragons performed admirably throughout the campaign and even reached the 8th position in the FIFA Rankings in October 2015.
Neville Southall remains the team’s most capped player, but the generation that included Ryan Giggs, Gary Speed, Craig Bellamy and John Hartson will also be remembered for some impressive performances against top European national teams.
