Georgia
Romania will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Armenia when they host Georgia at their Stadionul Ilie Oana on Wednesday evening. The Tricolores have already suffered two defeats in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, and, no doubt, a win over Georgia will help them regain a much-needed confidence. Craiova midfielder Alexandru Cicaldau, who scored a brace in the defeat to Armenia, is likely to pose a big threat to the opposition defenders.
The Georgians, on the other hand, are on an eight-game winless run in all competitions. The former Soviet Republic obviously struggle in front of goal, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Romanians. In their last meeting in a friendly Romania crushed Georgia 5-1, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself.

Stefan Radu is a Romanian footballer who plays for Serie A team Lazio as a left back. Radu is capable of playing as a centre back and a left midfielder if needed, but his main position is left back.
After spending four years at his home-town club Dinamo Bucharest (2004-2008), the Romanian footballer joined Lazio in January 2008 and he has been playing for the Biancocelesti ever since. Stefan Radu make his Lazio debut against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia clash shortly after joining the capital club. On 17 June, 2011 Radu signed a new five-year deal with Lazio.
Speaking of his international career, the former Dinamo Bucharest defender made his Romania debut in 2006. Radu made Romania Euro 2008 squad, but he did not play for the national team at the 2016 European Championship finals in France. The Lazio footballer won two Coppa Italia trophies with the Stadio Olimpico outfit (2008/2009, 2012/2013). Radu was born in Bucharest on 22 October, 1986.

Georgia are yet another former Soviet republic who have been competing as an independent country since 1990. The Georgians had their international debut on May 27, 1990, with the team sharing the spoils with Lithuania in Tbilisi.
Georgia have been struggling in the qualifiers for both FIFA World Cup and the European Championship ever since they played their first qualifying game and they have yet to book their place at the finals of the major tournaments. The Georgian national football team recorded their biggest win on March 30, 1997, with the team hammering Armenia in front of home fans, but they were demolished by Denmark (1-6) eight years later and that is considered the team’s biggest loss.
The Likes of Kakha Kaladze and Shota Arveladze are considered Georgia’s most famous players. Kakha Kaladze played for Georgia from 1996 to 2011, scoring one goal in 83 appearances for the national team. The left-footed defender won two Champions League titles with Serie A giants AC Milan (2003, 2007).
