Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Estadio de Madeira will host Sunday’s football game between Nacional and Moreirense. Nacional produced a fine display in the Taca de Portugal clash against Porto, but they eventually failed to make it to the quarter-finals. The Black and Whites are tough to beat at home, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the Moreirense clash. The visitors, on the other hand, suffered elimination to Santa Clara in the Portuguese Cup last 16.
Moreirense have yet to record a win on the road in the 2020/21 Primeira Liga season, but they are surely capable of holding Nacional to a draw as the two teams seem to be evenly matched ahead of Sunday’s game. There should be no absentees in the home team, while Mane, Amador, and Pedro are all likely to miss the match through injuries.
Highlighted Player (Riccardo Piscitelli ):
Born in Vimercate, Italy on October 10, 1993, Riccardo Piscitelli is a goalkeeper who plays for Nacional in Primeira Liga. Piscitelli started his youth career at Serie A giants Milan, but he was not given a chance to play for the senior team.
As a result, he was sent on loan to Carrarese where he made 23 appearances in the league. The Italian shot-stopper played for the likes of Benevento, Carpi, and Dinamo Bucuresti as well before joining Nacional in 2020. Riccardo Piscitelli has three caps with the Italy U20 team, but he has yet to make his debut with the senior team.
His preferred foot is left, and he has a contract with Nacional until July 24, 2020. The 189-cm-tall has yet to establish himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at Nacional as he has been in Daniel’s shadow. His preferred foot is left.
Highlighted Team (Moreirense):
Moreirense are a Portuguese football club based in Moreira de Conegos. Founded on November 1, 1938, Os verdes e brancos welcome their rivals at Parque Moreira de Conegos Guimaraes, the venue which can hold up to 9,000 spectators.
Moreirense wear green and white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, whilst black and red are the dominant colours of their away kit. In the 2016/2017 season Os verdes e brancos did well to win the Taca da Liga trophy, with the team beating Braga 1-0 in the title game.
Caue scored the winner for Moreirense on the stroke of half time. Moreirense impressed in the 2018/2019 Primeira Liga season, finishing the process in sixth position in the standings. The club missed out on a place in the Europa League on goal difference to Vitoria de Guimaraes. Penafiel are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
