Heerenveen will be looking to make amends for a shocking 3-1 loss to Fortuna Sittard when they host RKC Waalwijk at their Abe Lenstra Stadion. Heerenveen continue where they left in December, with the team extending their losing run in the Eredivisie to four matches. De Superfriezen will not have a better chance than this to get back on course, and they are likely to go all-out attack against RKC on Matchday 16.
A man to watch in the home team will be centre-forward Henk Veerman, who found the net in the 3-1 loss to Fortuna Sittard. RKC, on the other hand, are on a four-game losing run in the Dutch elite division, and given the importance of the match for the hosts, we predict that the relegation strugglers are going to return home empty-handed. The likes of Sow, Lutonda, and Min are pushing for a start for the visitors.

Erwin Mulder is an experienced Dutch footballer who plays for Heerenveen as a goalkeeper. Mulder spent his youth career at R.K.P.S.C, Vitesse Arnhem, and Feyenoord, and he continued playing for the Rotterdam club at senior level.
After making 120 appearances in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord, the 193-cm-tall shot-stopper signed for Heerenveen as a free agent in the summer of 2015. It has to be noted, though, that Erwin Mulder was loaned to Excelsior during his spell with Feyenoord. His next stop was Swansea City where he made 29 league appearances before returning to Heerenveen in 2020.
Erwin Mulder was born in Pannerden on March 3, 1989, and he has three caps with the Netherlands U20 team. He has yet to earn a call-up with the Oranje senior team. The Heerenveen goalkeeper was named in the Netherlands Euro 2012 provisional squad, but after the training with the national team, he failed to make the cut.

RKC Waalwijk is a Dutch club that competes in the Eredivisie. RKC returned to the Dutch top flight in the 2019/20 season, and they were more than fortunate not to suffer relegation back to Eerste Divisie. Fred Grim’s men were stuck at the bottom of the table when the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result, they did not drop to the Dutch second tier. RKC play home games at Mandemakers Stadion, the venue which can hold only 7,500 spectators. RKC Waalwijk are well known for their yellow shirts with blue strips, but their away kit is mainly black. The Mandemakers Stadion outfit have never won the national championship.
RKC, though, represented the Netherlands in European competitions in the past, with team taking part in Intertoto Cup on four occasions. Willem II are seen as one of the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Brabantse derby.
