Our prediction for this KNVB Cup match:
David faces Goliath at Philips Stadion as PSV and Telstar go head to head in the Dutch Cup last 16. PSV are leading the chase for the Eredivisie title, but Ajax are still breathing down their neck. Even though head coach Roger Schmidt is going to mix the squad for the KNVB Beker game, the Eredivisie leaders should not face any difficulties against the Eerste Divisie side.
All Veerman, Bruma, and Vertessen are pushing for a start, while Ibrahim Sangare is on international duty with Ivory Coast. Telstar, on the other hand, set up a meeting with PSV by beating lower-league side Spakenburg. The White Lions, though, will have a mountain to climb in Thursday’s clash, and we do not believe that they are capable of claiming a major scalp in the last 16 of the Eredivisie.

Mario Gotze is a German midfielder, who played for Ronsberg and Eintrach Hombruch during his youth career before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2001. He made a great progress during his spell at the Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy and on 21 November, 2009 he made his Bundesliga debut for the Millionaires.

The German midfielder, who is capable of playing as a striker as well, failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign, but it has to be noted that he was struggling with injury at the start of the season.
