Kalmar vs Varberg PREDICTION & BETTING TIPS - 23/07/2023

Kalmar will look to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Elfsborg and Hammarby when they take on Varberg on Matchday 16. Kalmar suffered a dip in form, with the team obviously struggling at the back, but the bookies still see them as favourites to beat Varberg in front of home fans. Midfielder Noah Shamoun is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in the last league match, while Carl Gustafsson is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.

Joakim Persson’s troops, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 loss to AIK in their last league match. Experienced midfielder Robin Tranberg misses out through suspension, while fellow midfielder Oliver Alfonsi has yet to overcome a knee injury. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on Kalmar as they want this win more than Varberg.
