Our prediction for this MLS match:
New York Red Bulls will look to tie the series with Cincinnati when the two teams face each other at Red Bull Arena on Saturday evening. The Metros aim to recover from the heavy 3-0 loss at TQL Stadium and they have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at the Orange and Blue. All Cory Burke, Hassan Ndam, Dante Vanzeir, and Lewis Morgan are sidelined with injuries, while both Harper and Nealis are pushing for recalls to the starting XI.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, won their home game in style, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry at Red Bull Arena. Considering that the Metros rolled over Toronto and Charlotte in the previous two home games, we predict that the visitors are going to return home with their hands empty. As for the away team, all Nick Hagglund, Santiago Arias, London Aghedo, Stiven Jimenez remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Luciano Acosta):
Luciano Acosta is a professional footballer who plays for DC United as an attacking midfielder. Acosta was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 31, 1994 and he started his senior career at his hometown club Boca Juniors. After scoring 2 goals in 25 appearances for the famous Argentine club, the 160-cm tall footballer joined Estudiantes on loan in 2016.
In 2017 he moved to DC United and he has been playing for the MlS club ever since. Luciano Acosta impressed in the 2018 season, with the Argentina international scoring 10 goals, while providing 15 assists for his teammates in the process. Despite producing thrilling showings in the 2018 MLS campaign, he has yet to earn a call-up for the Argentina national football team.
Acosta’s main position is attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both second striker and centre forward as well. He has a contract with DC United which should expire on December 31, 2019 and his preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (New York Red Bulls):
New York Red Bulls is the first club from New York City to join Major League Soccer. In 2006 the club was sold to Red Bull GmbH and, as a result, they are nicknamed the Red Bulls. New York welcome their rivals at Red Bull Arena and the team’s home colors are white and red.
On the other hand, the Red Bulls wear dark blue shirts and yellow shorts on the road. In 2008 New York Red Bulls made it to the MLS Cup final, but they were not capable of matching Columbus Crew (1-3) in the Home Depot Center clash. A number of top-class footballers were part of the team in the past, but former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry is the synonym of the club.
Henry scored 51 goals in 122 league games for New York Red Bulls from 2010 to 2014 and it has to be noted that he scored his first MLS hat-trick in a 5-2 victory over Montreal Impact on March 31, 2012. The likes of Youri Djorkaeff, Lothar Matthaus, Roberto Donadoni, Rafael Marquez, Juninho and Tim Cahill played for the club in the past as well.
