World Cup winners Argentina will look to kick off 2023 in style when they take on Panama at Estadio Monumental on Thursday evening. La Albiceleste high on confidence following their excellent performances at the showpiece tournament, but boss Lionel Scaloni must warn his men against complacency. Star players Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martinez, and Nicolas Otamendi all made the cut, with Man Utd rising star Alejandro Garnacho receiving his first call-up.
Los Canaleros, on the other hand, will have a mountain to climb in Thursday’s friendly. When the two teams met at Copa America 2016 Argentina crushed Panama, which is yet another reason why we predict the World Cup champions will win this game easily.
