Espanyol
Estadi Nacional will host Saturday’s football game between Andorra and Espanyol, the two teams with entirely different ambitions for the remainder of the season. Andorra are eager to secure the Segunda Division survival and their current four-game unbeaten run is surely fueling fans with optimism ahead of the visit of Espanyol. Manuel Nieto is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while Christos Albanis misses out with an ACL injury.
Los Periquitos, on the other hand, aim to overtake Sporting Gijon in third place, but given their difficulties on the road, we do not believe that they are capable of collecting more than one point from the match. It has to be noted that the Catalan outfit have suffered three defeats in the previous four away matches. Espanyol defender Fernando Calero is banned for the match, while forward Nico Melamed misses out with a shoulder problem.

Espanyol’s fiercest rivals are Barcelona and the two teams face each other in the Catalan derby (Derbi barceloni). Espanyol have always been in Barca’s shadow, but it has to be noted that los Periquitos have won four Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup trophies).
The likes of Raul Tamudo, Jose Maria, Antonio Argiles and Mauricio Pochettino are players with most appearances for the Catalan outfit. Espanyol play their home games at Estadio Cornella-El Prat and the capacity of the stadium is 40,500. Los Periquitos have never participated in the Champions League.
