Lugo
Leganes will be aiming to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Las Palmas when they host Lugo at their Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Matchday 23. Leganes continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team eyeing their ninth home win of the process. Even though both Javi Hernandez and Bustinza are banned for Monday’s clash, we are tempted to put our money on the promotion-chasing capital club.
Lugo, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Tenerife. Los Albivermellos have been impressive on home soil this season, but given their poor away record, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Leganes. In the first half of the season Lugo defeated Leganes at Estadio Anxo Carro 2-1, meaning that los Pepineros are hungry for revenge.

Rubén Pérez is a Spanish footballer who was born in Ecija on April 26, 1989. The 178-cm tall midfielder is a product of Atletico Madrid youth academy, but he made no more than one appearance in La Liga for los Rojiblancos. Ruben Perez, though, played 53 games for Atletico Madrid B before joining Deportivo La Coruna on loan.
The Spanish footballer spent some time on loan at Getafe, Real Betis, Elche and Torino as well before joining Granada in 2015. After making 31 appearances for the Andalusian side from 2015 to 2018, Ruben Perez joined Leganes on loan in 2016.
In 2018 he signed a permanent deal with Leganes and he has been playing for the capital club ever since. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. Ruben Perez has 5 caps for Spain U21 team, but he has yet to receive a call-up for the senior squad.

Despite being founded back on June 16, 1953, Lugo have never competed in the Spanish top flight. The club’s best result in Segunda division came in the 2016/17 season when they finished 9th.

CD Lugo played their first official game on September 13, 1953, with the team beating Pontevedra 3-1.
