Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Castellon and Mirandes face each other at Estadio Municipal de Castalia in what is expected to be a close match. Castellon have been struggling on the travels of late, but they did well to beat Sporting Gijon in their last home game. Ruben Diez, who scored his fourth goal of the season at the weekend, will be one of the men to watch in the home team. Mirandes, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Cartagena and Las Palmas.
Los Rojillos have been producing splendid displays in Segunda Division in recent weeks, and they are surely capable of matching Castellon behind closed doors. A close match is on the cards at Estadio Municipal de Castalia, and we believe that punters can find value in betting on draw. In the first half of the season the two teams played out a 1-1 draw at Estadio Municipal de Anduva.
Highlighted Player (Oscar Whalley ):

After his spells with the likes of Huesca (loan), Sporting Gijon, Aarhus, and OFI, Oscar Whalley returns to Spain in 2020, signing a deal with aforementioned La Liga 2 side Castellon. He kept his first clean sheet the following month in a 2-0 home win over Leganes. Speaking of his international career, the Castellon goalkeeper made his Spain U21 debut in a 4-1 loss to Belgium on November 12, 2014. His preferred foot is left.
Highlighted Team (Mirandes):
Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.
Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
