Malaga and Zaragoza, the two old rivals, face each other at Estadio La Rosaleda in the Segunda Division round 24. Los Boquerones desperately needed a win at Alcorcon, and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their six-game winless run in La Liga 2. Experienced attacker Pablo Chavarria, who scored a late winner on Matchday 23, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
Los Blanquillos, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Albacete, with the team beating Ponferradina in their last league match. Zaragoza, though, are not regarded as good travellers, and that is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Malaga, who regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend. In the first half of the season Malaga defeated Zaragoza 2-1 at Estadio La Romareda.

David Lomban was born in Aviles, Asturias on 5 June, 1987 and he began his senior career at Valencia. The 185-cm-tall defender played 37 matches for Valencia B and he made no more than three appearances for the first team. After spending the 2009/2010 season on loan at Salamanca, he joined Xerez in 2010 and two years later he signed for Barcelona B.
David Lomban played just one season for the Catalan outfit in Segunda Division and then he decided to take a bigger step towards a brighter future as he joined La Liga side Elche. After making 62 appearances for the club, he signed a three-year contract with Granada on 10 August, 2015. Lomban played 31 games for los Granadinos in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign, but he failed to find the net for the Andalusian outfit in the top flight.
David Lomban’s contract with Granada expires on 30 June, 2018. Speaking of his international career, the Granada defender has 11 caps for Spain U17 and he played one match for Spain U20 team as well.

Based in the autonomous community of Aragon, Zaragoza is a Spanish football club that plays in Segunda Division. The club was founded on March 18, 1932 and it plays their home matches at the legendary La Romareda stadium.
The venue opened on September 8, 1957 has the capacity of 33,608 people. Los Blanquillos wear white shirts and blue shorts when playing on home soil, while yellow is the dominant colour of their away kit. Zaragoza did well to win the la liga trophy in the 1977/78 season, with the team finishing the campaign four points clear of second-place Recreativo de Huelva.
