Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Monday’s football game between Sabadell and Logrones will be bring down the curtain on the Segunda Division round 23. Sabadell are undefeated in the previous seven league fixtures, but they need to start winning on a regular basis if they are to secure the La Liga 2 survival. Los Arlequinats are eager to escape the danger zone, but the game against Logrones will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side.
Sergio Rodriguez’s troops, on the other hand, failed to impress in a goalless draw with Oviedo, with the team failing to take a shot on target. Logrones have been having their ups and downs in the 2020/21 Segunda Division campaign, and seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on Antonio Hidalgo’s troops this time out.
Highlighted Player (Aleix Coch):
Aleix Coch is a Spanish defender who plays for Sabadell in Segunda Division. After spending his youth career at the likes of Cusa La Granja, Espanyol, Reus, and Gimnastic, Coch started playing for Pobla Mafumet at senior level.
After scoring five goals in 60 league appearances for the club, he returned to his boyhood club Gimnastic in 2010. Aleix Coach played for Hospitalet and Badalona as well before moving to his current club Sabadell in 2017. The 185-cm tall centre-back made his Sabadell debut on August 20, 2017 in a goalless draw with Elche.
He scored his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw with Formentera three months later. His main position is centre-back, but coaches use him as a right-back as well. The right-footed footballer has a contract with Sabadell until June 30, 2021. Aleix Coch was born in Tarragona on October 18, 1991.
Highlighted Team (Logrones):
UD Logrones is a Spanish football team that participates in Spanish Segunda Division. Union Deportiva Logrones were founded in 2009 following the extinction of CD Logrones, with the team competing in Segunda B until the 2019/20 season.
In 2020 UD Logrones secured promotion to Segunda division as they were sitting in top position in the standings when the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The club is well known for their white shirts with red stripes, while blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Union Deportiva Logrones play their home games at Las Gaunas, the venue with the capacity of 16,000 spectators.
UD Logrones take on Sporting Gijon on their debut in the Spanish second tier. It has to be noted that the club chiefs made a three-year collaboration with La Liga side Eibar, which saw their footballers going on loan to Logrones to gain some experience.
