Following a historical 14-0 triumph over Gibraltar, France will be aiming to keep their 100% record in Group B intact when they take on Greece on Tuesday evening. Les Tricolores have already clinched top position, but they surely want to put icing on the cake on a very successful qualifying campaign. Olivier Giroud, who scored a brace in the last group game, is pushing for a start, while there are no fresh injury worries in Didier Deschamps’ team.
The Greeks, on the other hand, missed out on a spot at the 2024 European Championship finals and seeing that they are low on confidence ahead of the visit of France, home win should not be considered. To make things even worse for the home side, head coach Gus Poyet will be watching the game from the stands as he was sent off in a 1-0 loss to Netherlands.

Kylian Mbappe is a French footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain as a forward. The French rising star began his youth career at AS Bondy and in 2013 he moved to AS Monaco. In 2017 he moved to fellow French club PSG on loan, with the option of making the deal permanent. Kylian Mbappe scored 13 goals in 27 appearances for les Parisiens in the 2017/2018 and it has to be noted that Unai Emery’s troops eventually won the national championship.
Speaking of his international career, Mbappe played an important role for France at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals, with the pacey rising star scoring a brace in a thrilling 4-3 win over Argentina in the last 16 of the showpiece tournament. The PSG attacker was born in Paris on December 20, 1998.

Former European champions Greece played their first official match on April 7, 1929, with the team suffering a heavy 4-1 loss to Italy in Athens. The Greeks booked their place at the FIFA World Cup finals in 1994 for the first time ever, but they failed to impress at the showpiece tournament in United States of America.
The Galanolefki were eliminated in the group stages of the 2010 FIFA World Cup as well, but they made it to the knockout stages of the tournament in Brazil four years later. However, the Greeks were more than unfortunate not to book their place in the quarter-finals as they were beaten by Costa Rica on penalties. However, Greece did remarkably well to win the 2004 European Championship and that is considered the national team’s biggest success.
Otto Rehhagel outplayed the likes of France and Czech Republic in the knockout stages to set up a meeting with hosts Portugal in the title game. Thanks to Angelos Charisteas’ goal 12 minutes into the second half Greece won the European Championship.
