After suffering a 1-0 loss to Belgium in a friendly, Serbia will be aiming to seal their spot at the 2024 European Championship finals when they take on Bulgaria in the decider. The Eagles are only one point away from securing their spot at the next year’s showpiece tournament, but with the likes of Dusan Tadic and Aleksandar Mitrovic up front, Dragan Stojkovic’s men are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. The duo was rested in the midweek game, but they are widely expected to start against Bulgaria. Midfielder Sergej Milinkovic Savic misses out with injury.
The Bulgarians, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only three points on their account. As Serbia’s neighbours have nothing to play for in Sunday’s game, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts, who have a chance to overtake Hungary in top position. Defender Valentin Antov is banned for the visiting side.

Predrag Rajkovic is a professional footballer who plays for Stade Reims and the Serbian National team. Born on the 31st of October, 1995, the Serbian goalkeeper spent his youth career with Hajduk Velijko and Jagodina before signing a professional contract, his first, with the latter in 2012.
His first professional appearance came on the 9th of March, 2013, in a Serbian Superliga match against Partizan. A two-year stint at Red Star Belgrade succeeded Rajkovic's time at Jagodina, after which he moved to Israel to join Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2015. At Aviv, the six-foot-tall established himself as a first-team regular, and in his four-year spell at the club, he made 192 appearances, kept 90 clean sheets and won the Toto Cup.
The 24-year old now plays in Ligue one with Stade Reims and is on a contract that expires in 2023. At the International level, Rajkovic is a former youth international and has capped at every youth level for Serbia. He made his senior team debut meanwhile on the 14th of August, 2013, in a friendly match against Colombia.

Bulgaria national football team are well known for their “Golden generation” of players led by Hristo Stoichkov. The Bulgarian football legend was producing thrilling performances for the national team at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in USA and he helped the Lions make it to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The likes of Trifon Ivanov, Krasimir Balakov and Yordan Letchkov enjoyed a very successful tournament as well and, no doubt, they recorded a historical result at the 1994 FIFA World Cup. The Bulgarians defeated Germany in the quarter-finals, but Italy proved to be a big catch for Dimitar Penev’s team. Bulgaria eventually suffered a heavy loss to Sweden in the third-place playoffs. Nowadays, Bulgaria struggle in qualifiers for major tournaments and it has to be noted that they have not participated at the finals since 1994.
